Step 5

Find common ground with people you know on vital political issues

You can find common ground with people you know by inviting them to take a stand on the issues that most concern them by defining their policy agendas and creating profiles and personal homepages on this website.

Email your policy agenda to your friends, family, neighbors and co-workers and encourage them to visit this website to define their agendas so you can compare your respective stands.

Create a personal network and enter their names into your contact list so that you can start an ongoing dialog with them about your respective agendas. Start a blog for your network and private chat rooms where you can discuss your agendas, compare notes on the candidates you support and debate your choices. Put your heads together to see if you can build consensus about how you might be able to work together to get your shared priorities enacted into law.
